The Dahlia Year – talk by expert

Nick Gilbert is something of a dahlia expert, coming from a family where they grow over 400 varieties on their plot, which they have arranged alphabetically as a kind of living dictionary. Whether it’s the sumptuousness of one of the ‘dinner plate’ dahlias, the cuteness of a pompon flower, elegant single-flowered varieties to help attract bees, or those that will grow happily in containers, there’s a wide range of dahlias to choose from. Nick’s talk will provide a wealth of information on how to grow these beautiful flowers successfully.
